Sara Hjalmarsson stays with Toronto through 2027–28
Toronto has re-signed forward Sara Hjalmarsson to a two-year contract, keeping the Swedish international with the Sceptres through the 2027–28 season.
Hjalmarsson played all 30 games for Toronto last season after being selected in the fifth round of the 2025 draft. The club says the agreement brings its signed-player total to 17 ahead of training camp. She also recorded five points in seven games for Sweden at the 2026 Olympics.
